At Witch’s Apothecary, product quality and safety are our #1 priority. For every formulation, a Cosmetic Notification Form (CNF) is completed and submitted to Health Canada for review prior to being available for purchase.
Early submission sets us apart from our competitors. Notification to the government is only required to be submitted 10 days after the product is first sold. By submitting our Cosmetic Notification Forms in advance, we are able to ensure that the formulation is reviewed and on record before you receive your product - so you don't have to worry about feeling like a guinea pig!
Another benefit of completing our forms in advance is the quality of our labels. When completing the notification, we include copies of our labels and also receive feedback on any disclaimers or cautions to include. This means that our ingredients are reviewed and triple checked before becoming available to our patrons.
